Jack Davis put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April on Monday. He struck out two batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Davis and Plainfield will head out on the road to take on Mooresville at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last time these two faced off, Davis and Co. were forced to settle for a 10-5 loss.
