Softball Recap: Eastside Comes Up Short

Eastside fell victim to Boiling Springs and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 30-0 to the Boiling Springs Bulldogs. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Eagles were not able to get on the board.

Eastside's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6-1. As for Boiling Springs, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eastside will venture away from home to square off against Gaffney at 6:00 p.m. on March 19th. As for Boiling Springs, they will take on Crescent in a tournament on Friday. Boiling Springs is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.2 runs per game this season.
