Volleyball Recap: Frankfort Takes a Loss

Frankfort was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Vienna Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Monday.

Frankfort's defeat dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Vienna, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season.

Frankfort wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Johnston City on the 4th. As for Vienna, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Hamilton County on the 4th.
