Recap: GEO Next Generation Eagles vs. Varsity Opponent
If the GEO Next Generation Eagles were feeling good off their 61-17 takedown of Fortune Academy last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. GEO Next Generation was beaten by Varsity Opponent 53-25 on Tuesday. GEO Next Generation has not had much luck with Varsity Opponent recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
When it comes to explaining why GEO Next Generation lost, one person who can't be blamed is Patrick Robinson. Despite the final result, he scored 9 points.
GEO Next Generation's loss dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Varsity Opponent, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 85-352-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. GEO Next Generation's road trip will continue as they head out to face BELIEVE Circle City at 7:30 p.m. on December 7th. As for Varsity Opponent, they will square off against Boles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Boles focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Saturday.
