Basketball Recap: Northwood Comes Up Short

Northwood lost against Cardinal Stritch back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Northwood Rangers fell 38-31 to the Cardinal Stritch Cardinals.

Among those leading the charge was Sydney Miller, who posted ten points. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Amaya Hill was another key player, putting up four points along with seven rebounds and four blocks.

Northwood's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Cardinal Stritch, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-9.

Northwood will take on Toledo Christian at 2:15 p.m. on Saturday. As for Cardinal Stritch, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Cardinal Stritch Cardinals duke it out with the Liberty Center Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
