After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Ogdensburg Free Academy, Potsdam was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They breezed past the St. Lawrence Central Larries to the tune of 50-6. The result was nothing new for the Sandstoners, who have now won four matchups by 34 points or more so far this season.

Potsdam found their leader in sophomore Gannon Colbert, who rushed for 173 yards on only 13 carries.

Potsdam was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 476 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since the start of last season.

Potsdam's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for St. Lawrence Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Potsdam will square off against rival Massena at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. That contest will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Colbert and Mason Deshane.
