Soccer Game Preview: Walkertown vs. McMichael

Walkertown hasn't had much luck against McMichael recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Wolfpack will look to defend their home pitch against the Phoenix at 6:00 p.m.

Walkertown is looking to pick up the season's first win, something they couldn't quite do against Morehead on Monday. Neither the Wolfpack nor the Panthers could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Walkertown's goal came courtesy of Edi Traore Namble, which was the first she's scored this season.

Meanwhile, McMichael came tearing into two weeks ago's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.7 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Panthers.

Walkertown's draw makes their record 0-5-1 this season. As for McMichael, their victory bumped their record up to 4-7.
