Waynesville came into Saturday's matchup having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Hillcrest Hornets by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. Surprisingly, this marked the Tigers' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Waynesville got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 31-29, 25-16.

The win got Waynesville back to even at 3-3. As for Hillcrest, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-7-1.

Waynesville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Lebanon on the 13th. As for Hillcrest, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Joplin on the 13th.
