Basketball Recap: Wellsville Takes a Loss

The Wellsville Tigers were beaten by the Valley Christian Eagles 73-35 on Tuesday. The match marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Wellsville's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-4. As for Valley Christian, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wellsville will venture away from home to challenge Leetonia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Valley Christian, it'll be Battle of the Birds when the Valley Christian Eagles take on the United Golden Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
