Softball Recap: Woodcreek Wins Going Away Against West Park

Woodcreek gave up the first runs on Thursday, but they didn't let that get them down. They put the hurt on the West Park Panthers with a sharp 11-1 win. That's two games straight that the Timberwolves have won by exactly ten runs.

Camryn Kelley was incredible, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Chloe Preuss, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

The victory got Woodcreek back to even at 3-3. As for West Park, they moved to 3-2 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coming up, Woodcreek will be playing at home against Ponderosa at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Ponderosa is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.7 runs per game this season. As for West Park, a feisty cat fight will be fought as West Park Panthers challenge Roseville Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
