Football Recap: HEM Takes a Loss

HEM faced Little Snake River in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Miners were beaten by the Rattlers 78-24. The defeat continues a trend for the Miners in their meetings with the Rattlers: they've now lost nine in a row.

Slevyn Pelt threw for 62 yards and one touchdown. Carson Weatherford was his top target, picking up 68 receiving yards and one score.

HEM's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Little Snake River, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.

HEM has already played their next contest, a 65-0 defeat against Encampment on the 18th. Little Snake River has also already played their next matchup (against Casper Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
