Football Game Preview: Alliance Aviators vs. Geneva Eagles

The Alliance Aviators will square off against the Geneva Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Alliance is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Marlington: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Aviators blew the Dukes out of the water with a 41-6 final score. That's two games straight that the Aviators have won by exactly 35 points.

Alliance didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Cashe Brisker led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself. He got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Geneva entered their tilt with Jefferson Area on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Their defense stepped up to hand the Falcons a 56-0 shutout. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Eagles' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 128th, while the Falcons are ranked 608th).

Alliance's record is now 8-2. As for Geneva, their record now sits at an identical 8-2.
