Volleyball Recap: Justice Wolves vs. Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology Colonials

After flying high against Annandale last Tuesday, Justice came back down to earth. The Justice Wolves fell just short of the Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology Colonials by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The Wolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Colonials apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September.

Justice took Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-21, 23-25, 23-25, 18-16.

Abdullah Sufyan and Zayan Khurshid certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Sufyan had 11 digs, while Khurshid had four digs, three blocks, and two kills. The dominant performance gave Khurshid a new career-high in blocks.
