Basketball Recap: Countryside Cougars vs. East Lake Eagles
Countryside won the last time they faced East Lake and things went their way on Friday too. The Countryside Cougars breezed by the East Lake Eagles to the tune of 54-14. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Cougars have posted against the Eagles since January 25, 2018.
Julia Smith was her usual excellent self, going 7 of 15 on her way to 19 points along with five boards and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyssa Wright, who went 5 of 12 en route to 13 points along with seven steals and six assists.
