Volleyball Game Preview: New Albany Eagles vs. Lincoln Lions

The New Albany Eagles will face off against the Lincoln Lions at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with New Albany sitting on seven straight wins and Lincoln on three.

New Albany is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Pickerington North 3-2. The game was the first time the Eagles have beaten the Panthers on their court since April 7, 2022.

Meanwhile, Lincoln faced Olentangy Berlin in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Lions came out on top against the Bears by a score of 3-1.

New Albany's win bumped their record up to 16-8. As for Lincoln, their victory bumped their record up to 20-4.

New Albany came up short against Lincoln in their previous matchup back in April, falling 3-1. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
