Basketball Recap: Cortez Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Greenway, Cortez was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They walked away with a 46-37 victory over the Shadow Mountain Matadors.

The win got Cortez back to even at 1-1. As for Shadow Mountain, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-5.

Cortez won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Marcos de Niza at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Shadow Mountain, they will head out on the road to take on Estrella Foothills at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
