Football Recap: Bishop Ludden Comes Up Short

Bishop Ludden and General Brown squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Bishop Ludden had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a 48-0 loss at the hands of the Lions. The game marked the first time this season in which the Gaelic Knights were not able to get on the board.

Bishop Ludden has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season. As for General Brown, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-1.

Bishop Ludden does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for General Brown, they will square off against Little Falls at 7:00 p.m. on the 7th. The Mounties will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.
