Basketball Recap: Union City Comes Up Short

Union City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 63-51 to the Mooreland Bearcats. The Tigers were probably out for revenge after losing 44-43 to them when the teams met back in February of 2016, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Union City's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Mooreland, their victory bumped their record up to 6-8.

Union City is taking a road trip to square off against Geary at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mooreland, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Mooreland Bearcats challenge the Mangum Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
