Volleyball Recap: Warde/Ludlowe Comes Up Short

Warde/Ludlowe lost against Ludlowe back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Warde/Ludlowe fell 3-1 to Ludlowe.

Warde/Ludlowe started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-18, 25-23, 25-23.

Richard Kim had an outrageously good game for Ludlowe as he had 21 digs and three aces. Those three aces gave Kim a new career-high.

Warde/Ludlowe's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Ludlowe, their win bumped their record up to 5-9.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Warde/Ludlowe is set to square off against their familiar foe Stamford at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The timing isn't great for Warde/Ludlowe: they have been struggling with nine straight losses at home dating back to last season, while Stamford has snatched up four consecutive wins on the road. Meanwhile, Ludlowe will challenge rival Norwalk at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
