Central Valley is 8-1-1 against Ferris since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Bears will head out to challenge the Saxons at 4:00 p.m. Central Valley has given up an average of 13.8 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Central Valley is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 20 runs on Monday, they were much more limited against Mead on Tuesday. They lost 12-2 to the Panthers. The Bears have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Ferris' offense. They came up short against Mt. Spokane on Tuesday, falling 14-0. The Saxons were red-hot at the plate heading into the contest (they scored no less than ten runs in the three matches prior), but the Wildcats' pitchers proved too tough.

Central Valley's loss dropped their record down to 4-7-1. As for Ferris, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 4-7-1.
