Stafford gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Terry Rangers 3-2. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Stafford who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 23-25, 25-19, 21-25, 15-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stafford will square off against Hitchcock at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Terry, they will challenge Alief Elsik at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
