Recap: Lyman Hall Trojans vs. Guilford Grizzlies
After a string of four wins, the Lyman Hall Trojans's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell 56-46 to Guilford. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Lyman Hall of the 36-35 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.
Guilford was led to victory by Keira Reynolds and Alexa Kukta. Reynolds scored 15 points along with six assists and five rebounds, while Kukta dropped a double-double on 25 points and 12 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Kukta has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Sophie Creamer, who scored four points along with two steals.
Lyman Hall's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Guilford, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-13.
Lyman Hall does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Guilford, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Amity Regional at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Amity Regional is coming into the game with three straight victories on the road, so Guilford is out to stop a squad with plenty of momentum.
