Basketball Recap: Washington Latin Public Charter School Gets the Win

If Washington Waldorf wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Washington Latin Public Charter School, they should've done a better job of containing Victoria Guevara. The Washington Latin Public Charter School Lions took their contest on Monday with ease, bagging a 39-7 win over Washington Waldorf for which the team can thank Guevara, who posted 27 points. That makes it ten consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Washington Latin Public Charter School's points.

Washington Latin Public Charter School's victory bumped their record up to 6-16. As for Washington Waldorf, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

As of now, neither Washington Latin Public Charter School nor Washington Waldorf have any future games scheduled.
