1A League 6 Top Player Performances of the Week

Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances from Friday's football action (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!

Jefferson Gets a Boost from Martinez in 32-19 Victory

Starting off the list is Jefferson's Demitrias Martinez, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Martinez rushed for 154 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries, and also threw for 301 yards and three touchdowns while completing 81.8% of his passes. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 113 rushing yards dating back to last season.

On the season, Martinez has thrown those 3 touchdowns while averaging 134.6 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had two rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to six.
