Baseball Recap: Hatboro-Horsham's Win on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Hatboro-Horsham won against Plymouth Whitemarsh on Tuesday with four runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Hatters sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over the Colonials. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-2 on Tuesday.

Hatboro-Horsham got a great performance from Conner Cataldi as he struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits.

At the plate, Hatboro-Horsham saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kenny Lutz, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2. Ricky Klenk also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

The victory was the third in a row for Hatboro-Horsham, bringing their record up to 4-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Plymouth Whitemarsh, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.
