Volleyball Recap: Kingsway Christian Picks Up Third Consecutive Win + How To Watch

Kingsway Christian entered their tilt with Wayside Christian on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on Wayside Christian with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 last Monday.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Kingsway Christian took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-9, 25-15.

Kingsway Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Norah Terrigan out in front who had five aces and one assist. Those five aces gave Terrigan a new career-high. Callie Kowalczyk also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Kingsway Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 31 aces. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their ace total in three consecutive matches.

Kingsway Christian's record now sits at 13-8. As for Wayside Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Coming up, Kingsway Christian will host Faith Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wayside Christian, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bowling Green Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on October 7.
