Recap: Midfield Patriots vs. Montevallo Bulldogs
The Midfield Patriots scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They really took it to Montevallo for the full four quarters, racking up a 78-35 win on the road. Winning may never get old, but Midfield sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Kamiya Webb continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 24 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. Webb is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. Jazmin Johnson was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with five steals.
Midfield is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 13-9 record this season. As for Montevallo, their loss dropped their record down to 10-12.
Midfield will be playing at home against Tarrant at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tarrant is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Montevallo, they will head out on the road to take on Thompson at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Thompson presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Montevallo in Alabama (Thompson is ranked 59th, while Montevallo is ranked 315th).
