Baseball Recap: Ferguson Takes a Loss

Ferguson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 10-3 to the ABF Academy Cowboys. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Falcons have suffered since February 21, 2024.

Ryan Alfonso made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. He has been hot recently, having also posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Justin Rodriguez also deserves some recognition as he stole his first stolen base of the season.

Ferguson's loss dropped their record down to 1-3-1. As for ABF Academy, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 1-3 record.

Coming up, Ferguson will challenge Coral Gables at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. This will be Coral Gables' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for ABF Academy, they will square off against TNXL Miami at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
