It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Heritage had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They won by a set and slipped past the Norwell Knights 3-2. The win was nothing new for the Patriots as they're now sitting on three straight.
Heritage was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (108-101), but they still managed to win. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-23, 20-25, 16-25, 15-12.
Heritage was led to victory by Gabby Roussey and Alexa Walter. Roussey had 14 digs, while Walter had 14 digs, 13 kills, and two aces. Walter is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had seven or more in the last four games she's played dating back to last season.
Norwell's loss came despite strong showings from Autumn Lee and Kaitlee Reinhard. Lee had 15 digs, while Reinhard had ten digs.
