Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, West Craven couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Reidsville Rams by a score of 23-21 on Thursday. The Eagles' loss signaled the end of their ten-game winning streak.

Michael Smith was a one-man wrecking crew For Reidsville. as he rushed for 113 yards and a pair of TDs. The dominant performance also gave Smith a new career-high in rushing touchdowns (two). Frankie Galloway also helped out with an impressive 83 receiving yards.

West Craven's defeat dropped their record down to 12-2. As for Reidsville, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 12-2.
