Baseball Recap: Winamac Takes a Loss

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Winamac was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They fell just short of the Triton Trojans by a score of 2-1. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Winamac saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Will Malchow, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Winamac's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Triton, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Trojans beat Winamac by a score of 11-5 on Friday.
