Navarre's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They walked away with a 6-3 victory over the West Florida Jaguars. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Raiders as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Gavin Gray tossed a big game, striking out eight batters over 5.2 innings while giving up three earned runs off three hits (and not a single walk). He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jameson Rasmussen, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. That triple marked the first that he hit this season. Another player making a difference was Jacob McDonald, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

Navarre's record now sits at 3-7. As for West Florida, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 9-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Navarre will head out to take on Escambia at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Escambia will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Navarre surely won't give up without a fight. As for West Florida, they will venture away from home to challenge Jay at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
