Baseball Recap: Castle Rock Takes a Loss

Castle Rock and Cedar Park Christian squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Castle Rock had to settle for second. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 9-1. If the Rockets were looking for revenge after losing 6-3 to the Eagles when the teams met back in May of 2017, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for Castle Rock and nudges their season record down to 14-10-1. As for Cedar Park Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Castle Rock does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cedar Park Christian, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 9-3 defeat against Charles Wright on the 24th.
