Basketball Recap: Corbin Wins Going Away Against Jackson County

Corbin won the last time they faced Jackson County and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Corbin Redhounds strolled past the Jackson County Generals with points to spare, taking the game 74-58.

The victory got Corbin back to even at 1-1. As for Jackson County, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Corbin will square off against Tri-Cities Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Tri-Cities Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 contests -- so hopefully Corbin likes a good challenge. As for Jackson County, they will face off against Whitley County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Whitley County will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Jackson County surely won't give up without a fight.
