While Dalhart's win against Tulia wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Wolves skirted past the Hornets 12-11. The victory was some much needed relief for the Wolves as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Sydni Hyer made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over seven innings while giving up five earned (and six unearned) runs off ten hits (and only one walk). Hyer was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and one triple. Those four hits gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Dalhart let Jaedynce Peoples and Alyra Rivera run wild.
