Baseball Recap: Western Reserve Academy Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Western Reserve Academy's offense. They lost 16-0 to the University School Preppers on Wednesday. The Pioneers have struggled against the Preppers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Western Reserve Academy now has a losing record of 3-4. As for University School, their victory was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-2.

Western Reserve Academy and University School should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Pioneers (ranked 56th) will meet Medina Christian Academy (ranked 476th) at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, University School will take on Holy Name at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (40 vs. 260).
