Cloverdale is a perfect 10-0 against Middletown since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Eagles will host the Mustangs at 4:00 p.m. One thing working in Cloverdale's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last six games.

Cloverdale's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. Everything went their way against Lower Lake as they made off with a 14-0 victory. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by nine runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Camryn Bird, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylee Vlasak, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.

Cloverdale was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .381. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .381 or higher in six consecutive games.

Clear Lake hit Middletown with a nine-run third inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Mustangs lost 17-7 to the Cardinals. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Cardinals recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Cloverdale pushed their record up to 11-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Middletown, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Cloverdale got the 'W' when the teams last played back in March against Middletown by a conclusive 17-0 score. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mustangs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
