Softball Recap: Corinth Christian Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Open Bible Christian last Tuesday, Corinth Christian Academy came back down to earth. The Warriors took a 15-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Brunswick Christian Academy Eagles on Thursday. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2022.

Jamielyn Hudson was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was Hallie Altman, who scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.

Corinth Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Brunswick Christian Academy, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Corinth Christian Academy will challenge rival Northside Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Brunswick Christian Academy is set to square off against their familiar foe Hope Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
