Football Recap: Fowler Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Fowler was feeling good fresh off their 41-21 takedown of McFarland last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Redcats fell 12-7 to the Caruthers Blue Raiders on Friday. The Redcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blue Raiders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

The critical scores for Caruthers came from Elijah Carson and Jesus Quezada.

Fowler's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Caruthers, they moved to 2-8 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Coming up, Fowler will head out on the road to take on Woodlake at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers' defense has only allowed 12 points per game this season, so the Redcats' offense will have their work cut out for them. Caruthers does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
