Basketball Recap: Addison Perry Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Axtell

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Elm Creek, Loomis was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 45-37 victory over the Axtell Wildcats. The Wolves have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

Loomis got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Addison Perry out in front who posted 11 points and five steals. Perry has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. Sophia Schemper was another key player, putting up 12 points and three steals.

Loomis has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-17 record this season. As for Axtell, they dropped their record down to 4-15 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coming up, Loomis and Pleasanton will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Axtell, they are taking a road trip to challenge Southwest at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
