Basketball Recap: Winters Mill Comes Up Short

Winters Mill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 62-39 to the Westminster Owls. The Falcons were probably out for revenge after losing 50-43 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Winters Mill's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Westminster, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Manchester Valley the next time they take the court. Westminster will head out to face Manchester Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, while Winters Mill will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
