Baseball Preview: Onalaska Hilltoppers vs. La Crosse Central Riverhawks

Onalaska and La Crosse Central are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long. The Hilltoppers will face off against the Riverhawks at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. La Crosse Central took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Onalaska, who comes in off a win.

While Onalaska's victory against Prairie du Chien wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Hilltoppers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Blackhawks on Friday. The Hilltoppers haven't had any issues with the Blackhawks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Bradyn Delong made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Onalaska is 3-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 6-10 otherwise.
