Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Davidson couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 56-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Daphne Trojans on Friday. The Warriors' loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Abagail Johnson was her usual excellent self, going 7-for-15 to rack up 22 points along with seven rebounds and five assists for Daphne. Johnson continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Victoria Moten, who posted ten points.

Davidson's defeat dropped their record down to 20-9. As for Daphne, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record this season.

Davidson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Daphne, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 34-31 win against Foley on the 19th.
