Basketball Recap: Chillicothe Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Chillicothe came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were beaten by the Forestburg Longhorns 67-27. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Longhorns: they've now lost three in a row.

Despite the loss, Chillicothe had strong showings from Braylan Vidaurri, who posted eight points, and Freddy Garcia, who earned seven points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Chillicothe fell to 3-1. As for Forestburg, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-2.

Chillicothe will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Benjamin at 7:15 p.m. on January 6, 2026.
