Softball Recap: Johnson's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Johnson had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They walked away with an 8-5 win over the Burbank Bulldogs.

Johnson's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Burbank, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-2.

Johnson wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 12-2 win against Alamo Heights on the 1st. As for Burbank, they have also already played their next matchup, a 10-1 victory against LEE on the 28th.
