Baseball Game Preview: Sidney Eagles vs. Huntley Project Red Devils

Sidney hasn't had much luck against Huntley Project recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Eagles will square off against the Red Devils at 1:00 p.m. Sidney has given up an average of 14.5 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Lockwood hit Sidney with a ten-run fourth inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Eagles came up short against the LIONS, falling 15-0.

Meanwhile, Huntley Project had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Shepherd a 14-0 shutout on Tuesday. The Red Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by ten runs or more this season.

Sidney's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Huntley Project, their victory bumped their record up to 4-8.

Sidney might still be hurting after the 23-2 loss they got from Huntley Project in their previous matchup back in April. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
