Volleyball Recap: Buchholz's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Buchholz had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Monday. Everything went their way against the Eastside Rams as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 last Monday.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Buchholz took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-12, 25-12.

Aaliyah Ray paced Buchholz's offense, picking up seven kills. Ray got some help from Julia Almond and her 22 assists. Taylor Sembower controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.

Buchholz's victory bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Eastside, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-18.

Buchholz does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Eastside, they will head out on the road to challenge P.K. Yonge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
