Volleyball Recap: Custer Takes a Loss

Custer was the 3-0 winner over Hot Springs when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats fell just short of the Bison by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Custer took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 25-7, 19-25, 17-25, 27-25, 15-13.

Custer dropped their record down to 16-10 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Hot Springs, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-12.

Custer has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Wall on the 9th. As for Hot Springs, they will host Rapid City Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
