Softball Preview: Aberdeen Bulldogs vs. Mooreville Troopers
For the second straight game, Aberdeen will face off against Mooreville. The Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Troopers at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Aberdeen hasn't scored more than two runs for seven games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.
Aberdeen fell victim to Mooreville and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 13-0 to the Troopers.
For Mooreville's part, Ella Grace Mitchell made a big impact no matter where she played. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. Mitchell has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one triple and two RBI. That triple marked the first that she hit this season.
