There's no place like home for Decatur Central, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They took down the Beech Grove Hornets 69-50 on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Hawks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Decatur Central to victory, but perhaps none more so than Quintyn Voltz, who went 7-for-13 on his way to 19 points. Voltz has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Lavell Love was another key player, going 6-for-12 en route to 13 points along with seven rebounds and six steals.

Decatur Central smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in four consecutive games.

Beech Grove lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Tyris Reid, who went 6-for-13 to rack up 16 points and five boards. Another player making a difference was BJ Mastin, who posted six points and three steals.

Decatur Central's record is now 7-15. As for Beech Grove, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season.
